Before you start this course on Fractions and Decimals, You should take this pretest. It is based on the knowledge of Integers and Place Values of the digits in a number.
I would suggest that read following instructions. These will help you to revise your knowledge of Integers and Place Value of digits in a number.
What is Integer?
0, 1,2,3,4,5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 …………….. etc. are called Integers or Whole Numbers.
What is Place Value of a Digit?
The figures or numerals used in writing any number are called as digits.
Consider the number: 2346

Pretest:
Identify Integers in the list of following numbers.
2, 67,990, 1.5, 23.009, 1/2 , 4/5
Write down the Place Value of each digit for following numbers.
1. 12.34
2. 245.18
3. 4578. 01
4. 879. 104
5. 32. 89
